Why does my gps and google earth show my house at different location on latitude and longitude?

that depends on what your comparing to. if youre comparing the location to anything you got on a comercial, gps system, the location you get on your screen may vary about a 100m from your actual location.

on top of that , google indexes sattelite pictures on certain predefined points. since hte picture is flat, and the earth is curved, any other poitns may vary slightly, but this shouldnt matter to much.

in any case, the locations should be roughly similar, and only vary a few minutes. Why does my gps and google earth show my house at different location on latitude and longitude?
Go to google earth and locate your address. Now, the satellite may not show it properly for different reasons,i.e. the clouds, the rain, time of the day...
There are a couple of different ways to record lattitude and longitude. I don't know if this is your problem, but you never know. Why does my gps and google earth show my house at different location on latitude and longitude?
Because your house refuses to stay still in space and time.

Please ask your house to sit still and not move. You may need ot offer some treats for a while, but very soon you will find your house exactly where you left it.

Try watching The Dog Whisperer on TV and use his techniques on your house. Obviously you won;t be telling it to get off the sofa, but you'll get the idea.

Hope that helps. Why does my gps and google earth show my house at different location on latitude and longitude?

The images in Google may not be georeferenced completely accurately or you need to consider the accuracy of your GPS (it will usually indicate that the coordinates are accurate by plus or minus a certain number of feet or meters).
