I have an old laptop, a Dell latitude c610, and since it is rarely used I wanted to experiment with some overclocking since the thing takes a whole minute to load google. Anyway I have overclocked a palm pre plus and a few android smartphones, so I do know that I have the risk of frying the thing or screwing something up. I found a software online called clockgen. Is this software good for overclocking? Are there any other methods?How can I overclock my laptop?
You don't. Only a VERY select few laptops are able to do any kind of overclocking, and usually what I've seen it's more of an "OC button".
