Can someone random trace my cell phone number?

so if someone i dont know has my cell phone number, is it possible for them to trace whos phone it is, or where i live or where i am or anything? so none of that google latitude crap or anything cuz i'm assuming you have to be friends for that, this is a random person who does not know me, just somehow has my number. Can someone random trace my cell phone number?
There's websites you can pay and track it. If he's willing to spend some money, he can trace the number. There's also GPS tracking. Google lattitude can trace a mobile phone. People can guess random numbers as well, and if by chance it's yours, you could have a creep hacking you. There's people who save all of your conversations, etc. And if people somehow hacked them it could happen.

The potential uses of this technology are crazy, and Google is just getting started by integrated it鈥檚 cellular triangulation technology with Google Maps. So many crazy internet freaks can take the time to do this as well, and hack into your facebook accounts or e-mail or anything like that, so if you gave your number through email or anything creeps can find them. You never know who is going to hack into your internet and accounts. There are web sites like Ussearch that if you look up a cell phone number, you can get information about that number. You can find out whom is the account holder and where they live. A well-armed techy can find you. Check out Wireshark and NeoTrace. If the person is willing to pay, your address can be obtained if your cell phone number is known. Be careful!

The only way you can really make sure no one hacks it is to use a restricted number.... I don't know how but you could look it up on google!

Good luck! If you are having trouble with phone calls or texts (weird creepy or obsessing and annoying constant ones) then contact the police and they will do something about it.Can someone random trace my cell phone number?
Yes, there is this website where you pay and they uses the satellite to trace your bandwidth to the location.
