i cant seem to find the correct answer.. i tried googleWhat is the definition for parallel lines of latitude?
Sean Roberts said it best!! Totally correct! What is the definition for parallel lines of latitude?
Parallel lines of latitude are imaginary lines north and south of the equator. If you look on a map or a globe, you'll see lines parallel to the equator. These are the lines of latitude. They are used along with longitude to identify a specific location. Each line of latitude and longitude is divided 60 units called minutes. Thus we can identify any place on Earth by giving its position in latitude and longitude. For example, Dallas, Texas is located at 32掳 47' 0" North latitude and 96掳 48' 0" West longitude. We say this as 32 degrees, 47 minutes north latitude and 96 degrees 48 minutes west longitude
