Geography latitude and longitude?

1. The greatest river basin at 2掳 50掳W

2. The largest sea at 12掳N, 115掳E (2 words)

3. The greatest land mountain range 29掳 84掳E

4. Largest peninsula 20掳N 50掳E

5. Largest delta 22掳N 89掳E



Ive tried to find it on google maps and google earth, but the answers I'm getting just don't make sense? Thanks in advance for your help.Geography latitude and longitude?
I've found this to be an easier website for finding what's at a particular lat/long: http://www.mapquest.com/maps



Click on International and Maps by Latitude and Longitude, then convert W and S to negative numbers.



1. 2 degrees north or south? Must be south since there's no river basin at 2 north. Amazon.

2. South China Sea

3. 29 degrees north or south? Must be north since there's no mountains at 29 south. North is Himalayas.

4. Arabian Peninsula.

5. Ganges River Delta. This one wasn't labeled, but it showed where it was. You can either know what it's called based on location, cross reference to another map, or Google "largest delta" or one of the surrounding cities.



You could also use an atlas and manually find the point at each lat/long, or you could Google the hints, i.e. "largest sea," "largest peninsula".Geography latitude and longitude?

Those are the ones I could think of the top of my head. It's strange you couldn't find them on google maps/earth.
