i have S.S. homework and i don't have my textbook with me that has the longitude and latitude lines
and i have to write the reletive location of the numbers shown example:42(degrees)N %26amp; 88(degrees)W but since i dont have the map i cant find the reletive location so if you can find a map with longitude and latitude lines AND the city its in plz tell me where to find the map ( also on google earth IS it possible to show the latitude and longitude lines?)Latitude and longitude maps?
You can do this from Google Maps in these formats:
42掳 00' 0.000" N, 88掳 00' 0.000" W (degrees, minutes, seconds)
42.00000 N, 88.00000 W (minutes and seconds converted into fractions of a degree)
+42, -88 (+ is N of the equator, - is S of the equator; + is E of the prime meridian, - is W of the prime meridian)
Your co-ordinates land exactly on 70 Brantwood Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois. As a relative location you might say that it is near Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.
