Finding latitude / longitude from address using the internet - which is more accurate?

Several web sites provide this conversion - google, usc, geocoder, yahoo, terraserver. Found google results a bit different from geocoder or yahoo, so wanted to find out if anyone knows more about which is a more accurate conversion.Finding latitude / longitude from address using the internet - which is more accurate?
That's a tough one since the accuracy will even vary across the image used in each of those utilities.. The accuracy will depend upon the imagery, the terrain used for orthorectification, accuracy of the ground control points, the applications used for orthorectification, display, geographic calculation, and how well the person doing the process performs.

You might want to test the accuracy for your area by getting a good GPS (the more GPS satellites it can handle, the better) that can give you a good accuracy at a "control point" you select (center of a road interchange is good or sidewalk if the imagery has the resolution). Next select one of the geo packages you mentioned and put the cursor right in the center of the intersection. How far off of the GPS value is it? Repeat the process with the ones you're interested in and see what the circular error is between all of the different packages. Part of the accuracy will be your ability to place the cursor right in the center on the intersection (do 5 times and use the closest three to minimize human error - one pixel can make a .6m or 30m difference dependent upon the imagery used). The results will only be for that point but may give you a relative idea of which one(s) is better.Finding latitude / longitude from address using the internet - which is more accurate?
-- If you increase the scale of the map the latitude / longitude will be very accurate .See the link below http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html .For example you take a point in Indiana South Bend campus and you will find Latitude,

41.661627, Longitude -86.218128 .You are able to find accurately the latitude / longitude of your house
