Does anyone know how to decode a google maps url?

I'm wondering if google maps uses longitude and latitude in their urls... I can't make sense of the long string of code

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q%26amp;source=s_q%26amp;hl=en%26amp;geocode=%26amp;q=23rd+%26+8th+ave+nyc%26amp;sll=37.0625,-95.677068%26amp;sspn=43.983628,58.974609%26amp;ie=UTF8%26amp;z=16

Does anyone know what the numbers mean or where I can find out?Does anyone know how to decode a google maps url?

Well the best i can make of it is:

23rd+%26+8th+ave+nyc =

23rd %26amp; 8th ave nyc

37.0625,-95.677068 =

the SSL or Secure Sockets Layer

SSL means a protocol developed by Netscape for transmitting private documents via the Internet

43.983628,58.974609 =

the SSPN or Splice Site Prediction by Neural Network

am am not sure about SSPN or what it means sorry
