Do you mean you want to translate, say, an address into Lat %26amp; Long. or that you have Lat %26amp; Long %26amp; want to pinpoint the exact location based on only that?

Google Earth works fairly well. Why weren't you satisfied with the results from it? If a result within a couple of feet of the true location isn't close enough then you will have to get yourself some differential gps equipment or hire a land surveyor.
