Can you map the latitude/longitude of a place you are at with a TomTom gps system?

if i took my vehicle with a TomTom to a place that isnt on a mapped road, could i find out the latitude/longitude coordinates to look it up on google maps or something?Can you map the latitude/longitude of a place you are at with a TomTom gps system?
I don't know about TOM TOM but i do know you can use a Garmin GPS device to map out latitude and longitude coordinates which can be entered into Google Earth and the coordinates are accurate to within 10 meters of your actual position on the earth. So it would not be surprising if this can be done with GPS devices from other providersCan you map the latitude/longitude of a place you are at with a TomTom gps system?
