I was curious this morning and decided to install google's latitude on my mobile verizon phone. I have the samsung omnia (i910) with winmo. Verizon is infamous for turning off its gps, however, latitude's main function is to let your friends know where you are. my question is therefore: is latitude supposed to work on my shotty verizon service mobile phone? and if so, why doesn't it work?Verizon phones work for google latitude?
I have a Verizon moto q 9m which the q 9m is listed on google latitude as a working phone but it wont run on it. i did some searching and Verizon has blocked both gps and cell id on my phone.
