How can I use google to get longitude and latitude?

I am trying to find it out for Canterbury Cathedral, but if someone can tell me how to use it then I can do it myself =)How can I use google to get longitude and latitude?
There are several ways.

One is to use the basic Google Maps. Open maps.google.com and seach for "Canterbury Cathedral".

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q%26amp;source=s鈥?/a>

Zoom in on it, then right-click and choose "Centre map here". Then click Link (top right) which will open a couple of data boxes. Copy the contents of either, and you'll find the latitude and longitude inside at the section starting %26amp;ll

For instance, %26amp;ll=51.279904,1.082759

Quite a few sites have made it easier by using the Google Maps API (Advanced Programming Interface) to write automatic applications. For instance, try this one (http://pagesperso-orange.fr/universimmed鈥?/a> ) or the one at itouchmap.com (http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html ) where you can just search for a place by name, and it returns the latitude and longitude.

Alternatively, you can download Google Earth, which gives a continuous display of the latitude and longitude at the cursor. How can I use google to get longitude and latitude?
I've got you this link, its not Google but it gives Longitude + Latitude on the left all the time..just let it load then click to clear texts..

On the left is a menu of what you can do, click search, type in a place, then search for it. In the centre of the screen is a ' + ' that puts the Long/Latitude on the view section of the menu, by using your mouse to drag the map around.
