What are the social issues with Google Latitude: privacy and security concerns?

I can see value in service businesses where service professionals can be tracked as they are on the road, but what about for personal reasons?



Don't you think it's sort of dangerous to allow anyone to personally track you when anyone can hack into your mobile phone and find out where you are. That's scary!What are the social issues with Google Latitude: privacy and security concerns?
I am still lost.... i thought you had to give permission to be tracked. You mean al I need is a cell number and you don't know I am tracking you? Is that really how this works????



Would this NOT be as invasive as law enforcement and federal government tracking thru various entities?
