How do I get rid of Memory Optimizer?

Yesterday I clicked a picture on google images and then my laptop froze/crashed(it never hs before). I turned it on today and it says it's installing a "Memory Optimizer" that I never authorized or tried to download and I think it's a virus. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get rid of it? Also my laptop is a Dell Latitude D620 in case it makes any difference.How do I get rid of Memory Optimizer?

Enter Safe Mode, or Safe Mode with Networking if you need network access) and download MalwareBytes from google ,Install it, update, and run a full system scan. Remove everything it finds.
